Men’s Fishin’ Mission

There’s something about waking up before dawn to trodge through murky waters and over rocks, looking for the best spot to catch the biggest flattie. And, certainly, there’s something about going home hooking the largest catch of the day too!

Whether you’re new to fishing and want to learn the basics, or a seasoned sport fisher, there’s something for everyone at our Fishin’ Mission, run twice annually at Lake Tabourie down the South Coast of NSW.

From chasing sooties in the fresh to live baiting barras in the creeks, spinning metal for pelagics on the shoals to bottom bashing the rocks for flatheads – you will find like minded people to fish with, and share tips and techniques.

But don’t worry – there’s also something for those who aren’t as keen as BCF or TackleWorld members. Reckon Bacon and Egg rolls on the beach, a cold drink at sunset and a bbq’d roast dinner to write home about, sounds good? We know it sounds great! And what’s even better is the church on the beach that happens on Sunday morning, where you may find you learn more than you did on the beach with a rod in the water that morning.

That’s why, if you’re a bloke, you’re invited to spend the weekend of the 30th March to 1st April 2012 at fishin’ mission.
